The Ethnic Minority Enterprise Centre (EMEC) is a specialist not-for-profit company providing a range of services to members of black and minority ethnic communities in Glasgow.

Established in 1992 EMEC operates as a Company Limited by Guarantee with charitable status and has earned a valuable reputation for providing quality services to its clients and the wider community in Glasgow.

Recently EMEC reviewed its operating context and developed and defined a longer- term strategic plan, outlined in this document, to map out the future vision and direction of EMEC and set targets for the next three years.

This plan aims to describe that vision and communicate it to stakeholders, flinders and partners to support the coherent development and delivery of the company and its services. Delivery of the objectives will benefit the local black and minority ethnic communities as well as promoting inclusion and regeneration in the wider community of Glasgow.
